Northern California RV Parks and Campgrounds

I'm trying to put together a list of California RV parks and campgrounds. If you know of, or learn of, some good places please let me know so I can include them in this blog. I'll start in the local Central Valley area and hope to expand throughout Northern California. Thanks!

When you get to the top of California check out www.elkcreekcampground.com It's a really lovely RV Park in Happy Camp. The Pot Lucks are great the people are friendly. Come look for some gold or just enjoy the swimming hole. Along the Klamath River, Happy Camp is in the Klamath National Forest. Montine

Last week we were out exploring new RV camping areas.. we found a great spot tucked away behind Ladd's Marina in Stockton, California. I will have to find the name of the place again. It's located at the West end of March Lane right on the San Joaquin River. Each RV space backs-up right on the River. I spoke with some visitors and they commented how easy it was to back into the spaces because of the turnabout located within the campgrounds.

I am definately going to go back and check this place out again. It was peaceful and located close enough to town if you forget something yet has the illusion of being in the middle of nowhere.

A very good recommendation for new RVers that want to test out their new rigs!
